Accident

My wife started a blog. It has been great spending more time with her, helping her learn WordPress, breaking down all the terms, getting social profiles setup, RSS feed, and more. Then it happened. While composing a post, instead of hitting “Save Draft”, the blue “Publish” button was selected. I think she was expecting a confirmation prompt, it never came… “Gasp!” from the lady with the laptop. Then I found a plugin to solve this problem.

Accident

Immediately, searched, found, and installed a solution.

It’s called the Publish Confirmation Plugin for WordPress.

Basically, it prompts you to be sure that you want to publish the post.

Here’s a screenshot:

Seems pretty simple, and it is.

If you’ve ever hit that blue publish button by accident, this is a must have plugin.

Thanks to my wife for inspiring this post. Her food blog is here. You might have a look at other plugins reviewed here.
