Boris-

Nice to hear from you.

One idea you might consider is writing a new post about a new way you will be sharing your updates, but lead up to it with hints in a previous post or two.

In the post, let them know that the summaries will come after N# blog posts, or specific dates, and for those who are subscribed to either the RSS feed will continue to get the updates in their reader as usual, etc...

Thoughts? How are others handling this?

I'm yet to try the RSS to email approach; what's holding me back is the fact that some of my email contacts may already be subscribed to my blog's updates via RSS. If that's the case, they will get duplicate messages which may be too much for some of them.

I will give it a try and see what the response is. This really depends on the audience.

cheers

Ben-

My apologies for the delayed reply. I purchased the revolution theme from Brian Gardner. He does a pretty good job for a fair price. I'm having it customized further for my needs.

Hope that helps.

Douglas-

Thanks for adding to the conversation with the point about Mailchimp. What amazes me is that many of the top marketers online are not using this feature, and are leaving money on the table, as well as social currency.

Regards,
Travis

You nailed it, it's an awesome combination. And email service providers are beginning to take notice, too. Recently Mailchimp released an "RSS to Email" feature that publishes your feed directly in a daily email out to your subscribers.
