iPad Challenge – Marketer to Run Business on iPad Only for 30 Days

Sometimes marketing can be full of hype, sometime gimmicky, and sometimes a mixture of both.  What Apple has done with the iPad remains to be seen.  Certainly there has been a lot of Buzz since the January announcement.  One person is compelled enough that he has actually decided to run his business exclusively off the iPad for 30 days.  With the idea that the iPad’s lack of multi-tasking capabilities will increase productivity, new media icon Paul Colligan has decided to launch the 30 day experiment as soon as he gets his device. I turned on the camera recently to get the story from him directly.

iPad Challenge – Marketer to Run Business on iPad Only for 30 Days

In this post, I share a recent interview with Paul where he explains what he is doing, and why.  It is sure to get some attention, and raise the eyes of many in the industry.  I’m all for productivity tools, but from what I’ve seen so far, the evidence is not overwhelming that the iPad will be just that.  That said, if anyone can make that determination Paul is the guy.

Here is the video interview I had recently with Paul.  If you can’t see the video, visit Paul’s iPad Project.

You can also get the latest info on Paul’s project by visiting PaulsiPad.com.

What do you think of his idea?  What would you predict he will find with this project?

I could be wrong, but I think you are in your element with this experiment. :-)

I'm all for productivity, just not sure how the iPad helps, looks more like an entertainment device.

You'd think an entertainment device would at least have Flash capabilities (technology used to enable websites to play videos, etc.).

Enjoyed the thought balloons throughout the video. Based on talking speed, I have a feeling Paul was near done with his drink!

I think that is the largest size available for that drink…
