Project Oriented. The very nature of an internship is temporary, usually 1-6 months.  This allows business owners and managers to focus on defining a project for that duration, knowing that the intern is only there for an agreed upon timeframe.

Free. Everyone likes free. The problem is “free” often means you get what you pay for.  Not so with interns, for the reasons listed above, they are skilled, motivated, local, and due to their timeframe can be focused on completing a given project.
