The beauty of WordPress is its flexibility and ease as a publishing platform. Developers have latched on to this resulting in a deluge of free and paid plugins and WordPress theme designs allowing the platform to meet the desires and whims of even the most finicky marketer. I was recently introduced to this WordPress theme that was designed by a marketer for marketers. From what I can tell, the greatest challenge for marketers using WordPress is getting sales. With all the pretty themes and tricked out software plugins, if it doesn’t result in conversions (of some kind) your efforts are in vain. In this review, you’ll learn how MarketerCMS addresses this issue, what I like about this product, a bit about who is behind it, and what I wish was different about MarketerCMS.
Review of MarketerCMS WordPress Theme
WordPress. It’s free, and after it’s setup it’s easy to work with. For many, especially those new to online marketing, the problem might not be getting a webpage up, rather getting a webpage that yields conversions and sales. After you have something to sell, you need traffic, and a converting website. There are 2 things typical in a converting website.
- The ability to have prospects to join as a subscriber (squeeze page)
- A sales page that communicates the value your product offers, and converts
The Problem with WordPress for Marketers
If you are a marketer with resources both to write converting sales copy, and format sales letters that convert, all you have to do is create the pages in a standard WordPress install, and you are good to go (MarketerCMS won’t likely be a fit for you).
However, it seems to me that many marketers who can get started with WordPress often become stuck when they want to create optin pages and converting sales letters. This review is written with those people in mind.
How MarketerCMS Works
The MarketerCMS plugin offers a 16 point system designed to walk marketers through the process of creating successful optin pages and compelling sales letters using a proven formula of a very successful online marketer.

One thing the 16 point system offers, is the ability to format aspects of the page in a very professional way, while following a sales letter formula. Bullets, buttons, images, and more. Below is a screenshot of a sales page section that has the “link as a button” option enabled in the system. More details on MarketerCMS here.
When mousing over the button, it turns to a hand, and the button is suddenly framed in green. This is a button that Armand Morin says he’s tested over the years, and out pulls other types of buttons.
Sidenote: Testimonial section of the sales page uses the familiar WordPress editor window, so you can format the text as you wish, as well as insert an image, etc. On the layout of the page, you have the option to have the testimonials integrated in the sales page, or as a part of the page sidebar.

A Word About the Creator of MarkterCMS
Arman Morin is the guy behind the product. He has been around Internet Marketing many years, and has done very well online.
Disclaimer: I was once a member of his coaching program, I find Armand Morin to be a very savvy marketer who knows how to sell online.
The reason I feel comfortable recommending him is because I’ve seen he and his staff in action. They not only produce good products, but in my experience I found they do a great job supporting customers after the sale. Learn more about MarketerCMS here.
What I Wish MarketerCMS Did Different
Armand Morin stands out in the Internet Marketing community. This is also reflected in his product pricing. When he enters a competitive market, I’ve seen him make his products better than competitors and adds value, but he often is priced higher than the competition. Sometimes I wish he didn’t do that, so he could help more people. My feelings are no different with MarketerCMS. In a market where themes cap out at $97 (see alternative below), MarkterCMS is currently priced at $197.
Why don’t I like this? While we may benefit as an affiliate of his product, the truth is, it puts the product out of range for many online marketers who are just getting their bearings and figuring out where to invest so they can grow their business. For some, this product will be a no brainer, others will have to think on it a while, still others won’t be able to justify the investment right now.

My Take on MarkterCMS WordPress Theme
For someone who has a product to sell, and needs something to guide them through a step-by-step process to create and publish a professional sales page quickly, and can swing the $197 price point, this is the most compelling offer available at the moment.
