Squeeze Page Creation Problem Solved? (Video) Review of LeadPagePro Likes Dislikes and More

**Scroll for important update to this post** This week, I saw a product that caught my attention.  I’ve been searching for someone to create a solid video squeeze pages for projects I’m working on. I’m *not* a designer or website guru, far from it, but I know what I want, and find the “education” portion of outsourcing often delays projects.  This week I was introduced to what the guys behind LeadPagePros.com (aff link) have put together, and it has solved my problem. After becoming a customer, I thought of you and decided to share my experience thus far.  This post covers what LeadPagePro is, three things I like about it, a video of me creating a squeeze page within my account, where it could be better, and the bottom line.

Squeeze Page Creation Problem Solved? (Video) Review of LeadPagePro Likes Dislikes and More

IMPORTANT UPDATE: [7/2/2010] After repeated and unsuccessful attempts to contact the product creator, MarketingProfessor.com is no longer recommending the product in this post. www.LeadPagePros.com now takes you to a similar product (I know and have personally met the creator) which is both more affordable and a greater value with even more templates.  Thanks, as always, to subscribers and readers who alert us to deficiencies in products as we endeavor to provide valuable, and up-to-date recommendations.  -Travis

Squeeze pages are a great way to build a list.  Essentially it is a one page website, that encourages a visitor to give their email in exchange for a report or something of value.  Adding video to these squeeze pages, when done right, can improve conversion numbers considerably, but not if it is within a poorly designed web page.

What is LeadPagePro?

LeadPagePro is tool for creating premium designed squeeze pages fast, with minimal effort, even if you are someone like me who is lame at creating webpages.

Like #1 – No Software to Install

Login to your account, and everything is there for you to create your squeeze page, nothing to install or download required.  You can, however, download the whole site for futher editing, and tweaking in your own editor if you like. Checkout LeadPagePro here

Like #2 – Premium Designs to Choose From

Looking at the sales page, and some of the people he has worked with it was obvious to me that the creators of LeadPagePro know what they are doing.  These designs are ones that are known to convert well.  Not having to train a designer on what you need in a squeeze page, and go back and forth is a huge time saver. Like #3 – Value, One Time Fee, PLR Package

For the current price, this is a great value.  I was initially confused, and concerned that this would be a monthly fee, and was glad to learn that wasn’t the case, just one payment.  When I read the sales page it said the price would be moved up to $497 soon, and while not everyone can afford that price, for me the value is there, and I would still purchase it.

While I haven’t had time to examine all of it, they include a bunch of PLR (Private Label Rights) content for customers to be able to put squeeze page “bribes” together quickly, including the swipe copy (copy writing).  Get the full scoop on LeadPagePro here

Room for Improvement

Optin Box Element: If there is one thing I could suggest for this product, is that the optin box would resize better after applying an optin code.  Not a huge deal, but for those (like me) that get frustrated with technology, improving this part of the tool would help.  Perhaps resizing the box better upon saving the optin code, or offering specific elements of the optin code based on the vendor you use (Aweber, Infusionsoft, Constant Contact, iContact, etc.) so the optin box sizes properly would save time for folks.

Bottom Line on LeadPagePro

Online marketing isn’t about getting things done, it is about getting things done fast (and not perfectly, either, did you see that video?).  Speed of implementation is key, and I’ve found LeadPagePro to be a huge time saver for me.  For online marketers just starting, or wanting to launch a squeeze page mini-site, this product can save you the hassle of finding a designer, then spending weeks working with them. Thanks for this review, have you seen any competitive products out there for creating squeeze pages?

      Edward-

Not that I felt was worth the time. There are also a lot of graphic templates out there but you still have to build the pages. Nothing I've seen thus far puts it together like this one.

        Hi Travis

I’ve just replied to Edward above and I hope you don’t mind me putting the link above. I was just trying to answer Edward’s question. Feel free to delete the link.

Welly, good to see you here, and thanks for asking.

Normally it isn’t a big deal when people ask. In this case, however, I did remove it because I haven’t reviewed the product. Unfortunately, there are so many bad products out there (not saying your product is) that I feel a responsibility to subscribers as well as the product creator, to review products before mentioning them if I can.

In some cases I’ll mention a product that I’m in an indepth review, to give readers a hint of what’s coming :-).

          Thanks for understanding.

No problem Travis. I understand :)

Would you be interested in reviewing my squeeze page templates product then? Marketers like Lee McIntyre and Terry Dean love them and have already promoted.

      Hi Edward

Don’t want to sound too promotional here. But to answer your question, we provide a set of 180 squeeze page templates that are no inferior in quality. You can see them at premiumsqueezepagetemplates.com

Great review! I also use Optimise Press..what can you say about it?

I haven’t yet reviewed the product yet. There have been quite a few wordpress based squeeze page solutions released. Happy to take a look if the product creator approaches me, or more subscribers start asking about it.
